The Beagles have landed
Hej chums, how are you all? We have arrived safe and sound, after hitting up 4 European capitals in 60 hours and travelling 1431 miles. We have lots of tales to tell and photos to show you, so I might blog in parts. Here we go... So we left London in plenty of time to reach the ferry terminal. Chantal immediately got hit round the head with all my stuff, which had been repacked but possibly not packed in well enough. We reshuffled and ended up with a random assortment of things on our laps instead (in my case, my laptop, a pizza, and a box file of all my important documents), and promptly fell asleep leaving Nosh to take the A12 and then the A120 to Harwich. When I woke up Nosh announced that he might be a little lost, but didn't want to wake me to ask. It was ok though, since we shuffled through the tiny roads of beautiful Manningtree, and ended up on the Wix By-Pass. Wix!
Made it to the ferry with four minutes to spare. Argh! And had to be unpacked from the car.
Our room was in the middle of the ship with no windows, but two fold away bunks. We rampaged around the boat a bit, watched Attack the Block and Nosh got bored so we played Uno, which Nosh statistically improbably lost about fifteen times in a row.
Then we slept. For hours and hours in Chantal's case.
See you tomorrow!
