International Women's Day

Today is international women's day. We are lucky women in the lab, because when we got back from lab meeting we had a bunch of roses and some chocolate to greet us. Thank you Sal!

Word for the day - glass

First sign of sun for a month, the temperature has crept above zero, and the snow is finally melting (set to come back on the weekend, but we're ignoring that). Clearly the time has come for an ice-cream in the middle of the afternoon.

Glad Alla hjärtans dag

In general I don't hold with Valentine's day. Too many un-anatomical hearts. However, baking is something I do like, so happy hjärtans dag alla, hope you enjoy your virtual cake.
